Olivia’s passion for blending nature with the built environment began in the Appalachian Mountains, where she developed skills in welding and carpentry. She graduated with a degree in Construction Management, specializing in Sustainable Design.
With a career spanning consulting for farms and homeowners to leading large-scale renewable energy projects, Olivia has always focused on eco-friendly alternatives and sustainable practices.
As a hands-on builder and co-founder of WoodLynn Construction, Olivia restored a flooded log cabin into a striking mid-century modern home. With expertise in earthen plasters, cob, and cordwood construction, she collaborates with local artisans to create unique, environmentally responsible designs that merge beauty with functionality.

HARRISON POWERS
VICE OPERATING MANAGER / CO-FOUNDER
A lifelong Richmond native and third-generation carpenter, Harrison’s passion for building began in his childhood, when he crafted treehouses and carved bows and arrows with his father in the local woods. After graduating from VCU, Harrison chose to leave the corporate world and reconnect with his roots, becoming a commercial carpenter. He contributed to some of Richmond’s most iconic locations, including Carytown Plaza, Eddy luxury apartments, and The Novel.
Known for his unique ability to think outside the box and deliver long-lasting, stunning features, Harrison has earned a reputation as a "dream builder." At WoodLynn Construction, his combination of innovative thinking and hands-on craftsmanship ensures every project is executed with precision, creativity, and an eye toward enhancing the beauty and functionality of each home.
